The RIA Lab is new and hiring at every level. We are recruiting PhD students, Master’s students, and undergraduate researchers who want to work on interactive robot learning, uncertainty quantification, and human-AI collaboration.
You do not need to have done robotics before. We look for people with strong fundamentals in machine learning, probability, or optimization; comfort writing real code; and genuine curiosity about how people and autonomous systems work together.
Apply to the PhD program in Computer Science or Informatics at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering and name me in your application. Applications are reviewed by the department, so applying to the program is the necessary step, but please also send a short email.
